Elegant! The Angel Trumpet struck me as georgous when I first saw them. I see these a lot in art nouveau pieces. I printed this one in pink to get a nice contrast between the pink and the green. On a trip to Monet's garden in France I realized just how beautiful water lilies are.

Creating the flower prints provides its own challenge they are printed in buy three colors, with three plates and a plate key on the shop's Conrad press this insures the images line up. I am particular about line and color so the plates are meticulously carved. I spend a lot of time mixing color and run several proofs to insure the accuracy of color.
This linoleum print was made by accomplished printer and manager Laurie Darby at Cobblestone Printmaking Center and Studio.
Each image is printed with oil based inks on acid free rag paper.
This print was printed on a Conrad E24 press, it is a limited edition of 30 signed and numbered on the bottom right corner.

Laurie Darby was taught printmaking in school and holds both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in the Fine Arts. She has shown nationally and internationally and teaches workshops in printmaking.
