The placemats are handmade in the USA by my 76-years young mother. We have used the Jordanian keffiyeh fabric and a solid cotton back. Placemats measure approximately 11 x 17 inches.
These customized mats will exclude pompom fringe.
The pattern represents olive leaves, a symbol of peace and nourishment. The lines represent the road because Palestine used to supply food to the region because of its fertile soil. The mesh represents fishing nets because Palestine lies between two seas and there was an abundance of fish. buy
