Here is an elegant and hard-to-find Serving Bowl with handles in the Star Pattern from Haviland. It originally had a lid which sadly parted ways with this bowl. It is marked "Haviland, France" in green which was used from 1894 to 1931.
The Star Pattern features a sweet and simple dotted relief in a soft scalloped wave around the top of the round shell-like body; the base features a delicate and elegant scalloped foot. It's the ideal pattern to pair with other all-white patterns to stretch your dinnerware service out.
This antique French china serving bowl is in excellent condition free of stains, chips and cracks – amazing considering it is a century old! It measures 8.5” / 21.5 cm across (w/o handles) and 2.75” / 7 cm high.
I have several all-white china patterns (inc. Haviland's Ranson and Marseille) in my buy shop…all of which work well together if you'd like to mix and match. If you'd like to purchase two or more listings in the All-White China category, I'd like to offer you a 5% discount on your whole purchase. Please message me and we will make it happen!
These, and all treasures in Granny's Goodie Jar, include free domestic shipping!
