Antique English Oak Tea Caddy circa 1910, scarce collectible. It measures 5" to the top of the Bakelite lid handle and has a diameter buy of 4 5/8". It no longer has its liner so it's a purely decorative item in the classic Arts and Crafts style. Perfect for storage of other items, however, and a good hiding place for little treasures. The different grains of wood on this piece are incredible. There are ten different sections, all with a wonderful different grain. There are no nicks or damage.
There is a small seam that has a tiny bit of separation towards the bottom but the seam is tight.
This will be a fine accent piece in an English Country or Arts and Crafts decor.
