These pretty sterling silver daisy dangle earrings have been designed and handmade completely from scratch and entirely by hand using traditional silversmithing techniques in my Sussex (UK) workshop.

The daisies are hand pierced (sawn) from sterling silver sheet metal using a super fine jewellers saw. The daisy centres have also been textured by hand and are then soldered in place.

The daisies measure approximately 1.4cm in diameter. I offer a choice of sterling silver ear fittings; either leverbacks or handmade earwires as shown in the gallery. With the leverbacks the earrings are a fixed length measuring approximately 3.2cm long from the top of the earwire. With the handmade earwires as shown in the gallery, the earrings measure approximately 3.5cm long. However as the latter is handmade I can make these earwires shorter or longer, just tell me the overall earring length required in the ‘message to seller' at checkout.

All pieces are carefully tissue wrapped, secured with ribbon and placed inside a branded cardboard jewellery box.

• A note about hallmarking:
By UK law, all sterling silver items for sale weighing 7.78g or over must be hallmarked by one of the four U.K. Assay Offices. It is illegal to sell items over this weight in silver without a hallmark. Each earring falls under the weight threshold and as such do not require hallmarking. (Please see my FAQs to learn more about hallmarking and your rights). Please be aware that a 925 stamp on jewellery is not a hallmark.
