buy Original Pastel Art, Signed. The Hutchinson Tree is located on the inter-coastal waterway located around Edisto Island in South Carolina. This tree, located on Hutchinson Island, stands out among all the rest as it is solid white with a backdrop of green and is draped with Spanish moss as are most of the trees in the South. It is done with highly pigmented soft pastels as well as pastel pencils on U-art 400 sanded pastel paper. The reference photo is my own.
