It's made of 1.5 cm thick felt, and whether you are standing, sitting, or lying down, you feel supported and warm. Even when you roll from side to side, you feel massaged and ‘held'. This is because of the density and natural properties of the wool. You can, of course, use it in combination with a rubber yoga mat, but we find this unnecessary (and to be perfectly honest, quite smelly!). However, the meditation mats are not designed for standing stretching poses, so you will need to step onto a floor for that.

Using a yoga mat can be very useful and beneficial for your health, there is a huge potential for bacteria and germs so if you are not using a mat you are exposing yourself to anything and everything that other people may have. Yoga mats provide you with the best position and help to improve your balance and coordination.

CARE INSTRUCTION: Hand wash in cool water. Do not wring. Roll between two towels to remove water. Block and lay flat to dry. Do not machine wash!

WARNING: Do not use when wet since colors can fade off to the surface. Wool is not flammable but can burn. Therefore we recommend only using up to 480 degrees Fahrenheit.
