Looking to give your home some vintage Japanese art that has some rough edges yet unique? Well, now you can with our reprints of six 1911 Japanese postcards made for a tea company. You can choose between 2 and 6 prints to make your own set.
This set looks great in a variety of rooms, but we think they would look great in a kitchen or a coffeehouse/restaurant as well!
Each print is 11x17" in size and with archival Epson professional inks. You can choose between 232 gsm heavyweight matte paper or the superb 285 gsm Aurora Fine Art Matte paper, which has a very slight watercolor paper feel to it. Even though the heavyweight matte paper is the cheaper option it's still thicker than what the majority of other storefronts use for their prints.
(If you are looking for individual reprints at larger sizes, you can view them here: https://www.etsy.com/sg-en/shop/8RedFishCreative?section_id=34135173)
Please be sure of the number of prints you wish to order and the specific ones, due to the cost of the paper and amount of the ink involved we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for the wrong prints chosen. (We do, however, offer refunds and exchanges for post office damage. Please see our shop policies for more details.)
This postcard reprint set was restored from high-resolution scans and digitally retouched where it made sense. We own six of these Formosa Oolong Tea postcards, some of which we had to buy from overseas.
We aren't able to offer framed/matted prints, but we recommend checking your local art/craft supply store and/or the following websites: www.craigframes.com, arttoframe.com, or framebridge.com. Craig Frames also has an Etsy storefront! Check them out.
Your prints will be sent via USPS priority mail, so you won't have to wait long.
