Vintage Alice Caviness Sterling Silver Filigree Bracelet with buy Five Blue Cat Eye Chalcedony Stones

This is a gorgeous vintage Alice Caviness bracelet with sterling silver filigree and five blue cat eye chalcedony stones. This beautiful bracelet has a hinged clasp, plus a sterling safety chain. It is stamped Alice Caviness Sterling behind the stone closest to clasp loop, and stamped STERLING on spring buy ring. Bracelet is in excellent condition and is 7.75 inches long. Of interest: Alice Caviness was a fashion and glove model who began her jewelry business in the 1940's. Her first showroom was at 5th Avenue and 34th Street in New York City. Her filigree jewelry (like the above bracelet) became very popular in the 1960's. She retired in 1980 and sold her business, which ultimately closed in 2000.
