A beautiful small antique butter dish from the Staffordshire potteries. Specific maker unknown. This is an early 20th century piece and typical of the type produced in the Staffordshire factories from the victorian era into the 20th century.
The dish would look fabulous on display in any collection or as part of your home decor. It could also be for daily use in your kitchen if you so wished.
Measurements
Diameter = 11.0 cm.
Height = 5.3 cm.
Condition
The dish has no cracks or chips but has some glaze crackling and buy discoloration which appears to be underglaze inside the dish and lid.
