Rare Antique Sorrento Ware "Ricordo" Picture Frame.

Very unusual photo frame in the shape of an artist's palette. These were usually Italian tourist pieces from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. When I did a search I can only find two other frames of this style online, both of which are different novelty shapes. This is a unique piece, likely one of a kind. It features details of flying swallows, and the word "Ricordo" meaning “fond remembrance”. It comes with a photo of a well-dressed lady marked on the back "Marta Mariana Nilsson, 16 May 1891 Varkaus Finland". The back has the original wood pull-out stand for tabletop and also a ribbon if you want to hang it on the wall. There is no glass, but currently, a thin piece of clear plastic protects the photo in the frame. Good vintage condition, some light surface wear normal for its age, small hairline crack top right corner above the image opening, not very noticeable.
