A unique and one of a kind forest art yarn, a special yarn for you to work with in your own fiber art project, it's great to work with along with some pieces of your yarn stash and scraps as a weaving yarn, to add texture to a piece of woven wall art, the natural rustic embellished branch that the yarn is wrapped around is for displaying a small weaving or fiber art piece on when it's finished, the ends of the branch are embellished, the part of the branch under the yarn is natural rustic with bark and smoothed ready for your display piece (the display branch in each set available is it's own unique natural shape)

To use this set - Take everything off the display branch, on this one there is four handspun yarns, some pieces of recycled sari silks, tassel ties, and two leaf embellishments. If you would like to use the branch to display your woven art then make sure you set up your loom so that your warp threads will make your weaving the right width to fit onto your branch leaving the embellished branch ends at each side (see the little weaving I did in pictures 8 & 10 to see how it fits to the branch)
Sort out any yarns and scraps from your stash that you would like to incorporate into your weaving. Have fun creating your piece, and tie back onto your branch with a hanging loop to hang it on your wall.

The yarn on the branch is to mix with other yarns to weave together, for the example small weaving I made in pictures 8 & 10 the set I used was one (less textured) art yarn on a small branch, which is the purple in the bottom half of the weaving, the other small pieces of yarns I worked with from my yarn stash was some commercial green dyed yarn, two pieces buy of boucle yarns, and a scrap of recycled sari silk yarn. The one I worked with had a couple of tassel ties and a leaf embellishment, which I added on at the end, along with a few other yarn scraps from my stash.

If you are new to weaving - The set I worked with to make the weaving in pics 8 & 10 was a small branch set with one less textured yarn, if I was working with a more textured yarn I might make the weaving a bit longer depending on the yarn, you could weave the more textured/heavier weight of yarn into the bottom of your weaving like I did, or you could intersperse it throughout inbetween your other yarns, have fun creating <3
