This plate was made using stoneware clay and real flowers. It was then fired once, colored and fired again in a kiln for durability and color permanency. Item was high fired so that colors will never fade and will retain their beautiful hues. A great gift for family and friends, and one that is not widely found. Cork decco pads are placed on the bottom to protect furniture and other surfaces where it may be placed. Lead Free therefore making this plate perfect for holding food or other items, keys etc perhaps. But nothing like tea bags and the like that are staining please.
