Olive Wood, Wedge, buy Shave Ready Antique Razor

This an interesting 6/8inch wide, wedge-ground razor that buy has no maker's mark or branding. The tang curls, and there is no jimping above or below. Given the patina and the style, I would place this razor as an American 1920's or 1930's.

I restored this blade using 6,000 grit, 1,000 grit Japanese stones, and then polished on a 12,000 grit strop. It was given a new home in a set of beautiful olive wood scales and pinned with brass pins and caps. The oil is for storage and transportation, so when you get it, just wipe it clean, give it a few passes on a strop, and enjoy one happy shave!
