A roll of French wired glass seed beads from the 1800's early 1900's.
Never has been used. New Old / Dead Stock
The beads are buy wired and then twisted on to another wire which where used at the time to make Antique bead work ex.Mortuary flower wreaths.
Why not use for joyful creations as wedding crowns, flowers, stiff ornate collars, necklaces
The beads are a white cream (dividers) mixed with a majority of blue gray. The central wire has a pinkish paper twisted around it (to protect it ) which gives a certain reflected color on to the beads .
The time has gone by and this is no longer done so we can talk about the new and modern possibility's for using this in decorative ways. Or for the redoing of an old piece.
