buy Walter Goggins was staggering as Chris Mannix in The Hateful Eight. Like an amphetamine-fuelled nazi, he brought the radiant madness, not unlike DiCaprio clutching the skull in Django Unchained. I found The Hateful Eight perfectly claustrophobic. It was gorgeous. The tiny flakes of snow coming down within the haberdashery were so sublime that it felt more like a hallucination than a film. That the whole thing is, in fact, a film and not a hallucination makes me shudder to think of the budget. I don't know how you could make such exorbitant art and pat one another on the back and smile as if you've done something good for the world. Hell of a walk.
