Outeiro Agueda Oval Bowl Reticulated Porcelain Bird Portugal Pierce Signed Vintage READ Approximate Dimensions: 8 1/4" Wide x 3 1/2" Tall Beautiful design featuring an exotic bird, flowers and leaves The bowl has a handle on either side Made in Portugal Signed Hand painted buy Porcelain Vintage The reticulated lattice weave sets off this bowl beautifully, it would look great used for fruit or as a bread basket. Pre-loved. Please be aware, this beautiful bowl has crazing on the bottom and on the inside bottom of the bowl. Crazing is caused by the glaze being under too much tension. This tension occurs when the glaze contracts more than the clay body during cooling. Because glazes are a very thin coating, most will pull apart or craze under very little tension.
