Mosaic Bird Bath - Hand Crafted Garden Decoration with Floral Design - 18 buy cm Diameter (7 inches)

Bespoke mosaic terracotta bird bath which has been lovingly hand crafted, from the drawing of the design, to cutting the separate pieces of glass or tile and individually gluing and grouting with precision and care.

A terracotta base that has been painted in clotted cream acrylic paint with a deep turquoise bordering, a coat of clear outdoor varnish is then added which provides a high gloss finish and extra weather protection.
The pattern features centrally located green ceramic petals with an iridescent glass centre bead . Surrounding the central design are randomly cut coloured ceramic pieces from a plate, with a buy mix of turquoise and blue square iridescent glass tiles that encircle the design to complete the pattern.

The ceramic and glass pieces have been adhered to the base with water resistant adhesive and the completed design is finished in a peppermint coloured sanded grout which has been sealed for outside weather protection.

The varnished finish reacts with the clotted cream acrylic and changes in colour slightly, it looks like it has some patina or ageing which creates a vintage look.

Please note although this product IS weather protected, I would strongly recommend emptying the dish out prior to frosty weather.
