I plucked these leaves from the Japanese Maple growing in the yard where I used to live. The first spring growth leaves are what I retrieved. They were so thin and delicate that I had to enhance them with wax to cast. I designed the back of the leaf to be as interesting as the front, so they are reversable.

DESCRIPTION: These medium-sized Japanese Maple leaves are cast in beautiful, tarnish-resistant ARGENTIUM sterling silver. They dangle 1" from ARGENTIUM earwires, the tips of which I have rounded and smoothed, resulting in a much more comfortable to wear pair of earrings. They can be worn with the natural leaf texture in front, or with the smoother side facing forward.
