Handmade brass earrings, with granulated dot detail, made from recycled scrap metal left over from other designs. These measure just over 3.5cm, but can be made to any size- just drop me a note with any customisation requests!
This piece is produced from 2mm wire, which is first cut to size, then shaped into a semi-circle before being soldered on to a post. The brass version comes with sterling silver posts and butterfly backs. Each stage of production is completed by me in my Edinburgh workshop.
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, and it is an eco-friendly alternative to gold or silver, as it is mainly produced from recycled scrap metal. Like silver, it does tend to tarnish over time, but can be made shiny again with some lemon juice and a damp cloth. Please note, in the interest of avoiding waste, each piece is made to order and can take up to two weeks to ship. If something is required faster, just drop me a note, and I will do my best to help!
All of my jewellery buy is sent in recycled packaging, without the use of any new plastic. Everything is vegan (no coral or pearls here!) and all chemicals used in the process of producing my pieces are eco-friendly, non-toxic and free from animal ingredients.
