Product code: Vintage Art Deco buy Silver Plate Compact Dance Purse Monogrammed EG

Vintage Art Deco Silver Plate Compact Dance Purse Monogrammed EG. It is marked "Silver Plate Made in USA" and a jeweler's mark in a diamond. There is a place for dollar bills or a handkerchief on one side, and a place for two different types of coins and a tiny powder compact on the other. The compact's mirror is cracked in two and has a black mark in it. There is still a tiny bit of powder in the compact, along with the original powder puff. The silver plate is tarnished and scratched inside and out. There is a slight dent in the front panel. The original chain is intact. All those marks of vintage use aside, this is a lovely piece, with beautifully engraved markings inside and out.

All compacts are gift wrapped for free! Your vintage compact arrives carefully packed in a buy tissue paper wrapped white jewelry box, tied with raffia or sheer ribbon, within a padded, sturdy mailer or box, ready for giving or enjoying yourself! Throughout the year I wrap in white paper with red poppies, tied with red or black raffia, and use white tissue paper with silver stars between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am happy to fill out a gift tag at no charge. You may also choose to purchase gift wrap and a label—click on “gift wrap” to see a sample of the Kraft paper with birds and baker's twine wrapping.

Inspect the photos carefully and ask questions if you like, as this item is sold AS-IS and there are no returns except for gross misrepresentation in my description. I will combine shipping if items are purchased at the same time.

My East Tennessee Appalachian grandmother's estate is a treasure trove of kitsch and folk art and other treasures from the 1920's to the 1950's, with stuff thrown in from the teens and the 60's just to keep it interesting! Please keep checking back with me—I'll list my finds as I come across them!
