This is one of my all time favorite books, full of insightful, historical & scientific facts, photography & beautiful illustrations, buy covering an incredibly taboo & misunderstood topic of drugs, this book uniquely focuses on the relationship that women have & have had w/these substances both medicinally & recreationally in such a captivating. & eloquent package. As you can see the paper cover of this hardcover has seen better days but in turn, it's done a great job keeping the rest of this book in excellent condition! So, as they say.. don't judge a book by.
