A beautiful vintage jig saw puzzle, entitled, 'Grandmother's Garden, manufactured by J.K. Straus Company, Brooklyn, New York. The company was started in 1933 by Joseph K. and his wife who made the puzzle pieces out of inexpensive 3 ply wood veneer. The company also sold to F.A.O. Schwarts buy and the business continued until the last family member retired in 1974.

The vintage puzzle is complete with 300 interlocking pieces and features a lovely scene of a cottage garden created around the quintessential thatched English house. The puzzle is in good condition measures 16" x 12" completed, the box 10" x 6 3/4" x 2".
