Handwashing strongly recommended
All yarn is shipped to you in twisted hanks. If you would prefer to receive your yarn in a pre-wound yarn cake so that you can begin using your yarn straight out of the package, please add our "CAKE MY YARN" listing to your order and we will gladly wind your new yarn for you!
All yarns are pre-washed to remove as much excess dye as we can, however, small buy amounts of color bleeding may occur. Please wash separate with like colors for this reason.
Hand dyed with commercial dyes.
Please note that we do our best to capture the colors as accurately as possible in our photographs but due to varying screen monitors, in-person colors may vary slightly. For this reason we also try to be as descriptive as possible in each of our listings.
Due to the beautifully artistic nature of hand dying techniques, strong variation can occur from skein to skein, even in the same dye lot. For this reason we highly recommend alternating skeins every couple of rows to help them blend together if using more than one skein in a project.
