Here is a very nice #5 skillet From Chicago Hardware Foundry. These skillets featured the size number inside of a diamond at the 6:00 position, and were made from Favorite Stove & Range patterns after they were purchased by Chicago Hardware Foundry in 1933. Diamond pattern skillets were produced from 1934 until Chicago Hardware Foundry was destroyed in a labor riot in 1938. This buy piece is in excellent restored condition. It has a smooth cooking surface and outside heat ring on the bottom. It sits flat with slight movement (2 sheets of printer paper to correct). It has one small (3/16") blemish toward the outer edge of the pan. Very shallow and will disappear in no time by cooking with it. No cracks or chips, it would be great for use or display. It measures 8 inches in diameter by 12-1/4 inches long and 2 inches high. It weighs 2 pounds 10 ounces and has been cleaned and re-seasoned. Ready to use!
