Weiss Rhinestone Brooch Wedding Jewelry Elegant buy Wedding Rare Beauty Vintage

Stunning vintage Weiss rhinestone brooch, often referred to a Bridge brooch, as seen in a 1957 Weiss ad from a magazine.

The silvertone brooch measures 2 and 1/2 inches across. All stones are prong set. Large center brilliant cut stone measures 1 cm across , surrounded by large marquise cut stones measuring 2cm long by 1/2 cm wide. Marquise stones are edged with 3mm clear brilliant cut stones to further enhance the elegant swirl design.

This huge and elegant brooch would have been handmade, each stone hand-set, just like fine jewelry. This is from the heyday of costume jewelry, and is a must for any serious collector. It is very wearable, works great, and appears to never have been worn.

All stones are present, tight, and sparkly. The large stones are not as sparkly as the smaller ones, but that is a feature of these brooches. It gives the piece an amazing depth.
