This 22" x 23" wall quilt combines hand applique with traditional Japanese sashiko stitching.
The kit includes the design screened on cloth so you can stitch on the dashed lines for perfect sashiko stitches. Plumeria fabrics include batiks and other cotton color washes ranging from pale yellow to deep pink. Batik fabrics are included for boarders, binding and water. White sashiko thread, full sized pattern and instructions are also included. Batting buy and backing fabric are not included. (Fabrics are carefully chosen to match the original quilt on the pattern cover, but may vary slightly.)
