Prudential Insurance 90th Anniversary Glassware, Rock of Gibraltar Barware, Prudential 6-Piece Glass Set in Original buy Box

What a cool way to enjoy your favorite cocktail -- especially for your special someone who works or has worked at Prudential Insurance. These 6 Gold and Black Cocktail Glasses feature the iconic Rock of Gibraltar. They were originally designed to celebrate the company's 90th anniversary in 1965 and given to employees, vendors, and customers as a thank you. This set -- in its original box! -- includes an employee letter of appreciation. Found at an estate sale of a former Prudential employee, this set is meant to be enjoyed once more.

Measuring 5 1/2" in height, 2 3/4" in diameter across the top, and holding 10 ounces of your favorite beverage, these hi-ball glasses feature a gold medallion design on black around the top with interspersed images of "The Rock" and an intricate floral scroll, all on clear glassware. These glasses are so shiny, that the red you may buy see in the design is a reflection of our vintage table. These glasses were produced by Libbey Glass.

All 6 glasses are in good vintage condition -- no chips or cracks, used lovingly. There are a few imperfections in the glasses, such as gold and black coloring outside the main design (shown in photos 8-9). Libbey's manufacturer mark of a cursive "L" is faint. For more photos, please contact me.

The original box also is in good vintage condition with no rips or tears -- complete with wording reading "Libby Safedge" their branded mid-century glassware, from Toledo, 1, Ohio. Cardboard inserts hold glasses in place; we will pad additionally for shipping. More than 55 years old, this box has stood the test of time with little wear and retains its corrugated cardboard firmness as it was likely stored in a cool, dry place.
