I'm pleased to offer this set of vintage quilt pieces. This set of 27 1/2 quilt pieces were all hand sewn in a Texas Star quilt pattern. There are 8 blue and white stars, 6 1/2 blue, yellow and white stars, 4 blue, orange and white stars and 3 multi-colored stars. A few of the stars are completed whereas the others are still in pieced halves. Also included is the Grandmother Clark's Cutting Diagram for Patches for "Texas Star" Quilt from the 1930's and 1940's. I have also included several blue and white stars and blue, white and orange stars that have stains. Each completed star is 9 1/4" in diameter. I think all of the fabric dates also the the 1930's- 1940's. The woman that created these quilt pieces was an excellent hand sewer - she was very meticulous in her corner matching as well as color palette. The children holding the sale said that all the quilts/quilt squares were made by their grandmother, who passed away in the late 1970's. What a great project to complete.
Date: buy Vintage - probably 1930's - 1940's due to the fabric and Grandmother Clark's cardboard pattern.
Condition: Great condition - no staining or tears. I have included several other stars that have some staining on them.
