Vintage 1950's Bucket of Blood Saloon buy Virginia City Nevada Sterling Silver Spoon - Travel Souvenir - Collectible Display Spoon

An exceptionally detailed vintage 1950's era travel souvenir from the infamous "Bucket of Blood" saloon in Virginia City, Nevada. This souvenir spoon is cast in Sterling Silver - marked "Sterling" on the reverse with the manufacturer's hallmark. The spoon has a wonderful design with a raised image in the bowl of a prospector with his burro. The handle of the spoon has the "Bucket of Blood Since 1876" text and raised depictions of a mining town and a pan with gold mining tools. Adding to the design is a detailed coiled rope border. The town name "Virginia City, Nevada" is boldly displayed on the back.

This is a teaspoon size, measuring 5 7/8" in buy length from end of handle to tip of bowl. The spoon is still in excellent condition for its age. There is no bending or warping to the bowl. The spoon is free of any nicks or gouges from being in contact with other flatware. The spoon does have a mild patina to the Sterling, which could be polished out if desired.
