Stained glass suncatcher of a bright yellow goldfinch in a field of pink and purple cone flowers in a horseshoe frame was handmade in my home studio in Gainesville, Missouri! A horse is a horse of course and now it is a colorful ornament for you!
Suncatcher measures @ 5.5" x 5.25" and has a metal chain for hanging. The colors and textures of the glass were carefully selected to create a unique piece of art. I select, cut, grind, foil and solder every piece of glass that goes into my suncatchers. This colorful horse suncatcher would be an awesome decoration for your garden or home. Or it could be that special gift for a hard to buy for friend or relative!
FYI: White areas may develop on the solder lines of a stained glass piece. Flux is used during soldering and even with cleaning small amounts can leak over time causing the white corrosion. To clean the white areas use a q tip or soft cloth (tee shirt material is great) with distilled water and wipe the white off.
