This citrine point is directly from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, formerly Zaire. The citrine from this area is well-known for its color, clarity, and beauty. This is a Lwena cascading citrine point. The region where this citrine is mined is very remote and the terrain is difficult. Heavy rains make it inaccessible for roughly half the year.

This is an all natural, untreated, unpolished citrine point. Raw citrine points and clusters are almost impossible to find, especially in this size. They are very rare. This piece is clear with some phantoms and rainbows. It is free standing but would be lovely on a display stand. It's the perfect size to hold for meditation.

This point demonstrates the cascading effect for which the Congo citrine is known. It demonstrates the characteristic “artichokes” formation typical of Congo citrine. There are a few names for this special formation - Abundance Quartz, Lightbrary, and Cathedral Quartz.
