Gorgeous Antique Sewing Box Carved Wood Tinted Wood Tile Trim Vintage buy Sewing Box Storage Hexagon Shape Needs a little work

Vintage wooden box that was being used as a sewing box when I purchased it. It would make a wonderful storage box in the entryway, office etc... The hexagon shape is wonderful. I believe the wood is walnut. Beautiful carved design with tinted wood tiles detailing around the base. Sadly, the box is warped enough that it will not close as it should. I have shown photos that clearly show this problem and one photo with me pressing it down. This box also has a chipped off corner in the back. Again please see photos. Box measures 15 1/2 inches across, 10 1/2 inches deep and stands about 4 1/2 inches tall. Inside is lined with the original paper and is in good condition. The box has its original lock mechanism but no key. buy
