Early mid-century Sadler covered candy box, ginger, vanity, or trinket jar made in England. Hand-decorated Chinoiserie florals.

In EXCELLENT! condition with NO! chips, nicks, cracks, or fleabites, LITTLE to NO! crazing and LITTLE TO NO! loss or wear to the gold accents. There are a few spots of browning to the under-side of the jar, not noticeable unless it is over-turned. The Chinoiserie florals are bright and vivid with NO! fading apparent and the inside of the jar is fresh and clean as a whistle!

Covered box has the impressed SADLER ENGLAND and artist's brush marks in black to base.

Approximate measurements: 3-3/4" round in diameter with a depth of 1-1/2" (NOT! buy including the lid).
