DETAILS: This is stunning vintage Muurla buy Finland votive or tealight holder, circa the 1970s. This piece can hold 6 votives or tealights - a rare shape for Muurla, which bears a resemblance to an iceberg, or volcano. This heavy piece of glass still has its original Muural sticker on the bottom rim, and measures 9" across and 3.5" tall. The tea light holders can accommodate a 2" wide candle.

TRASHTIQUE TALK: Muurla Glass was established in 1974, and has since adhered to the Finnish principals of durability, simplicity and timeless. Muurla pieces - like many vintage Scandinavian glass pieces - draw inspriation from pure Nordic nature, as shown in this iceberg glass piece.
