The piece was created by making a etching that is buy a reverse of the final image and hand pressing the image in rag paper.
This etching is an Artist Proof. The dimensions of the actual etched area are about 3 3/4 by 5 3/4 inches. There is ample space around the outside for matting and frame. Excellent quality small piece.
This is part of a collection packed away when my parents closed their art gallery in 1986. Everything was stored in a climate controlled environment and protected from light. These pieces were printed on quality paper, and have not been hanging on someone's wall - they still look new.
Due to the risk of creasing, we do not roll pieces for shipping, your etching will arrive packed flat.
