Natural Sunstone round-shaped cabochon gemstone (with a flat back and a smooth, convex top). This loose stone has a warm orange colour with beautiful glittering inclusions of copper and red hematite. Perfect for a statement ring or a pendant.

Sunstone is a feldspar crystal with inclusions of hematite, copper, goethite. These mineral inclusions create the typical sparkly metallic glitter on the surface of the stone.
Deposits of sunstone are mostly located in India, Canada, South Norway and Russia, as well as in Oregon, U.S.A. where it is the official state gemstone.
