Original 50s version of the standard 524 model glasses produced for the NHS. These simple glasses have a cultural track record which is so deep, wide and varied, that it is pretty much impossible to encounter someone wearing them and not feel a strong reaction. We would suggest they're the right option if you were searching along the lines of vintage thats not branded in any vulgar way, has some difficult to define essence coming from a different era but not in an imposing way, and has sufficiently slim dimensions that they avoid hipsterism.
This 1950s version has a superior standard of production, made in England.
Excellent overall condition.
Comes with prescription lenses which must be replaced with your own prescription. As you can see in the picture this prescription distorts the appearance of the mannequin eyes.
