This Japanese style noren linen curtain is made from pure organic semi-handwoven ramie, and hand-dyed with 100% natural plant dyes.
The painting like motifs are plum blossoms, bamboo, and pine tree. In Chinese and Japanese culture, these 3 elements symbolize the spirit of dignity and fortitude even under hard condition, just like they can still stand proudly buy or blossom even in harsh winter.
It can be used as home upholstery for doorway, window, bookshelf, partition, or wall decoration.
The curtain has 2 pieces which are stitched together at the top as shown on picture. The listed measurement is for 2pcs joining together. Please note that rod is not included here.

This natural and elegant looking curtain was sourced from a handcraft workshop that we discovered in the Weishan Old Town, Yunnan Province of China. It was once the birthplace of an ancient kingdom, today still remains to be a really original and authentic place, where the well-kept ancient art is preserved and passed down from one generation to another in the family crafts workshop. Hand fabric dyeing and emboidering are well-preserved craftsmenship in this area. All using natural dyes obtained from natural plants grown locally, the secret dying technique brings delicately beautiful color palette to the natural fabrics.
