Modern Dish - Reactive Glass - Abstract Vibe - 8" Square - Cloud White, Sky Blue and Periwinkle - buy Kiln formed - Reactive Cloud

I created the glass in this plate to accentuate the unpredictable and delightful reactions buy that occur when selected colors of glass touch during the firing process.

Soft cloud white glass frames the sky blue crossed with purple lilac rods. I designed and created the patterned glass insert and planned the purple reactions that occur at 1500 degrees! A constellation of there small stars like Orion's belt hang faintly in the white..you find them!

This dish is 8x8" and required several firings to complete. It is a lovely modern wedding gift and can be used safely with any food.

These are some of my favorite glass opal colors and I love to work with them.
