Vintage Scheurich Keramik Orange Red and Brown Fat Lava Ceramic Planter

A beautiful example of West German fat lava pottery, this plant pot comes in buy a glossy glaze of deep brown and sandy beige, highlighted by a bright orange red central wavy stripe. The planter would be suitable for medium-sized indoor plants.

Origin: manufactured by Scheurich Keramik during the 1960s.

Condition: in good vintage shape. No cracks, marks or dents, one small production fault along the opening and one small chip to the glaze around the base. Some amounts of sediment deposits have formed at the bottom of the pot as well as its inner walls from previous use.
