Vintage pottery black and tan piece. This piece was made for me in the 90's by the grand daughter of a Hopi lady who was teaching her how to made pottery in the traditional way. This piece was fired in the ground using the old Hopi method. It is a beautiful piece and one of my favorites. It is signed by the granddaughter "Ashley".
The second piece is of unknown origin. It is a piece made to look old with traces of turquoise paint on the outside but the inside is glazed and the symbols painted on the outside are very clear. A larger piece than the black and tan piece at 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall. Also vintage but unsigned.
