Extraordinary RIIHIMÄEN SOLMUKE Vase by Designer TAMARA ALADIN -Lasi Finland from c.1966 This is an extraordinary and rare vintage Mid-Century Modern period SOLMUKE art glass vase designed by TAMARA ALADIN- Riihimaen Lasi Finland. It was produced in c.1966 along with other pieces in this color & different shapes. This vase features a very fluid and minimalist tapered shape buy with two tiers of hoops, a polished glass rim and concentric ridged rings in the base. The colour is a beautiful translucent classic Riihimaen smoky blue with clear glass in the base. The vase measures approximately 10” T. Excellent preowned condition with no chips or cracks. Small partial import label still attached to the bottom as shown. Great opportunity to own a lovely Mid Century Modern glass vase.
