buy Lanson Champagne Bar Display Bottle, found and flogged in France.

Rare dummy display bottle from the Lanson champagne house, which has been around since 1760. These were originally used for promotional displays and decoration in retail outlets and bars, and were never sold new to the public. They are a lovely display item, and are often seen on display in European bars as well as in home bars.

Apart from the lack of champagne within, the only difference between this one and a normal bottle is that there is a hole just under 2 inches diameter in the bottom, which is sealed with a plastic cap. The cap could easily be removed, thereby offering another possible use as an accent lamp body for a lighting project (see photo No 9)

Size – 12.5 inches tall & 3.3 inches diameter at the bottom (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters)

Condition : Very good, no damage (see photos and description above)

Total Weight = just under 2 pounds (0.85 kilos)
