This BEAUTIFUL silk scarf is repurposed from three different vintage Japanese kimono. Our used kimono are sourced from as early as 1910 and as recently as 1980. Kept in pristine condition over the years, except for an occasional blemish or spots worn from aging, we select the nicest part of the kimono to produce this accessory of wearable art.
This Green, Gold and Blue tone beauty is made from vintage Japanese kimono from the 1950's-70's. There are images of flowers throughout the scarf.
We take great care in handing our kimono and are excited that you may find buy several ways to use or wear it. It measures 6.5" x 92". With this extra length it can be tied creatively, worn loose about the neck, with a cowl draped between the two ends and even used as a sash around the waist or as a table runner.
We recommend dry-cleaning, however for a quick refresher, just use a hot steam iron, never leaving it on any one spot too long and constantly moving it over the surface of the scarf. Apply a little steam over wrinkles or creases.
Please enjoy your heirloom-quality scarf and be sure to check out our line of kimono silk cell phone purses to find what might be a perfect match for this scarf.
Thank you for stopping by!
